Josephine Johnson is a performing songwriter based in Savannah, Georgia. A world-traveler, she has seven years' experience teaching music to young students in China, California, and now Savannah. Guitar, ukulele, and voice are her areas of instruction, but she's particularly fond of the ukulele for its size, versatility, and accessibility.
"Teaching ukulele delights me," says Josephine, "since the instrument is smaller and perfect for little fingers, students often progress quickly in their performance and theory skills, building confidence and a can-do attitude. And that genuinely lights my soul."
