You don’t need a watch to keep time when you’ve got Marc “The Machine" Cordray, keeping the beat. 


Marc teaches on Thursdays.


Marc Cordray has been performing and teaching music for over 30 years. He plays drums and piano.
Marc earned his Bachelors from Berklee College of Music and a Masters from The New England Conservatory of Music. In addition, he has taken private percussion instruction with Dave Holland (of Miles Davis, Herbie Hancock and Chick Corea bands: two-time Grammy winner), and Bob Moses, Ed Saindon, Tommy Campbell, Dean Anderson, and Dave Satterfield.

Marc currently gigs four to six times a week on drums, with a rocking blues band and other bands in every genre. He frequently fills in for multiple bands and has been recorded on ten albums. Marc has received multiple grants from MusiCares, a division of the Grammys. 

In addition to teaching, performing, composing, and recording, Marc has been the Music Director for two theater productions and also performs as the house drummer for theater productions.
